
Hal Bouknight’s successful career in process and project development has been built around bringing together experienced teams of innovative, mission driven team members and partners who strive to achieve new and unique solutions through technology.
Mr. Bouknight spent more than 20 years at the outset of his career in global process and project leadership roles in the oil, gas and petrochemical sectors at Union Carbide Corp and Fluor Corporation. where his leadership with new processes and innovative technologies led to successful project execution and implementation in some of the most challenging environments in the world. During those years Mr. Bouknight developed business relationships and a following within the engineering and construction community that made it possible for him to assemble Nacero’s world class engineering team. As President and COO of Global Project Solutions, he led the early development of a 100,000 barrel per day refinery in West Africa with the African NOC, the Chinese NOC, and Sinopec, that was financed by the Chinese EX/IM Bank. Prior to joining Nacero, Mr. Bouknight was SVP and a member of the management committee at IHI E&C Int’l Corp. In that role he led the development of over $5BN of EPC contracts in the LNG sector and built a substantial pipeline of other EPC opportunities for natural gas monetization in the LNG, NGL, and GTL sectors.
Mr. Bouknight holds BS and MS Degrees in Chemical Engineering from Clemson University and West Virginia University’s College of Graduate Studies respectively and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
